Company K is a Civil War reenacting and living history organization focused on historical accuracy, public education, and camaraderie. We welcome newcomers and experienced reenactors alike, but we are not a casual drop-in group.

Who We're Looking For
We are seeking individuals who:

Have a genuine interest in Civil War history and living history

Are willing to learn drill, period skills, and historical context

Can participate in events and activities when able

Value teamwork, reliability, and mutual respect
Prior reenacting experience is not required.
What Membership Involves
As a member of Company K, you can expect to:

Participate in reenactments, drills, and living history programs

Engage with the public in an educational and respectful manner

Represent the unit professionally at events

Contribute to a positive, team environment
Equipment & Costs

Annual membership fees are $35, due at the beginning of each year

New members do not need full gear immediately

We provide guidance on required items and help ensure purchases are historically appropriate

Loaner gear may be available for initial events, depending on availability

Costs are spread out over time, not required all at once
Age & Family Policy

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older

Individuals under 18 will only be considered if a parent or legal guardian also joins as a full, active member and assumes full responsibility

We are not a youth organization and cannot supervise minors independently
